Democracy Requires The Whole Truth

What is MRSC?

Media Reform SC, Inc. is a nonpartisan, nonsectarian organization concerned about threats to freedom of the press and dedicated to encouraging the free, full, and accurate flow of information in order to preserve and enhance democracy. We promote understanding of how media ownership has limited and distorted the types of news and information available to citizens.

In 2013 we applied to the Federal Communications Commission for a low power FM broadcast license and, in 2014, were granted a construction permit to bring low power programming to your FM radio dial. We believe that media brought to us by our community and for our community is more powerful and meaningful than media brought to us by corporate sponsorship.

Media Reform South Carolina presents to you WOHM, Ohm Radio 96.3 FM. With your support, we provide listener-supported, non-commercial, locally-produced programming dedicated to serving our community in Charleston, S.C.

Tax deductible donations to support Ohm Radio may be sent to Media Reform SC, PO Box 20241, Charleston, SC 29413 or may be made online at http://www.ohmradio963.org/.
